Jack Baptiste Team Absent:BoliviaMeeting called to order at 7:19PM. Fields:Los Arcos, Arroyo Vista and Deerhill will be closed on March 13 & 20th. John Barry has acquired a second field at Rockfield from March 13th to April 24th, with the exception of March 27th when only one field is available there. Rockfield will be closed in July for reseeding. Los Arcos will be closed for reseeding from April 27th until August 15th. Rahim has obtained the permit for Arroyo Vista from May 1st to July 31st. He has field #3 on March 27th at 9AM.Treasurer's Report:Gillis gave the Treasurer's report. The balance is $3700.New Business:Rahim made a statement that he feels the League is in disarray. The responsibility belongs to the Managers. The thinks there are more injuries than he has ever seen before as a player in the Valley. The League needs a set of Rules.Ron and Rob stated that the League has a set of Rules but that they need to be updated. Samy felt that there is no problem with the League. Chris Gago stated there is need for a set of Rules for discipline. Motion to institute Rules drawn up by Shawn Yousefi with recommendations of changes to take place in future meetings. Passed unanimously. A Trial board was picked. Rahim, Rob, and Eytan with Marc Hibbert and Chris Gago as alternates. The Executive Board is:
A vote was taken to control yellow cards and failed. Red card offenses will be reported by Managers to Ron Orum. Jack Baptiste will also send Red Card report to Ron. Jacob talked about one, two, or three referee system. Jack said two referees would cost $80 per game. It was decided that we would stay with a one referee system. If both Managers agreed, than notify Jack that they would like two referees for that game. Rob motioned that we raise the referee fee to $30 per team. A guarantee to two years at this cost. It was passed effective March 13th. Uniformity was suspended for one game for leaving the field before the game time completed. This will be carried out on March 13th. North Hollywood was fined $50 for being late to a game. Jacob made a plea to reinstate Calabasas. Shawn stated that the League accomplished tonight in what he wanted, but he felt that his team was treated unfairly. Vote taken to allow Calabasas to be reinstated. Passed 8 to 4 with penalties to be decided by the Trial Board. Meeting adjourned 9:38PM.
